DESCRIPTION:"The observation of Higgs boson pair production is a key milest
one in the LHC physics program. Di-Higgs production provides access to the
Higgs boson self-coupling and\, consequently\, to the underlying structur
e of the Higgs potential\, representing a fundamental step in the study of
the electroweak symmetry breaking mechanism.\nBecause of its small cross
section\, this process has long been considered beyond the reach of the LH
 C. However\, owing to the remarkable progress of HH analyses over the past
decade\, Di-Higgs production is now being explored in several production
and decay modes\, setting stringent constraints on new physics and rapidly
approaching the sensitivity required to probe the Standard Model predicti
on.\nDi-Higgs production can also serve as a probe for new physics\, both
through searches of new resonances decaying into Higgs boson pairs\, and t
hrough the study of deviations in Di-Higgs production within the Effectiv
e Field Theory framework.\nThis seminar will present an overview of Di-Hig
gs analyses\, discuss the main legacy results from the LHC Run 2\, the mos
t recent results based on the LHC Run 3 data\, and the prospects for the s
tudy of HH at the HL-LHC."
