DESCRIPTION:I will review wormholes that were used to explain quantum aspec
 ts of black holes. Then\, I will motivate a worldsheet approach for descri
 bing string propagation in two-boundary wormhole target spaces.  Several e
 xplicit examples of worldsheet CFTs will be presented\, whose target space
 s are Euclidean wormholes\, traversable Lorentzian wormholes and double co
 nes. The main lesson is the existence of string theoretic wormholes beyond
  the supergravity approximation\, where the length scale of the throat is 
 comparable to the string scale.
