DESCRIPTION:After motivating the need for a study of Open Quantum Systems\,
I will briefly illustrate the Gorini-Kossakowski-Sudarshan-Lindblad (GKLS
) master equation. This will be followed by a brief discussion of non-Mark
ovian phenomena and characterizers of Quantum Thermodynamics. A new deriva
tion of the Phase-Covariant and RTN models from a finite bath\, Central Sp
in model\, will be discussed\, followed by some facets of their Quantum Th
ermodynamics. Finally\, I will bring out a panoramic schematic of quantum
thermal analogs of electric circuits in the steady state regime.
