Abstract I will present two applications of the Effective Field Theory framework to Cosmology. The first regards Inflation, where we provide the most general parametrization of the fluctuations during this early phase of the universe. The second is about the cosmological large-scale structure, where, notwithstanding the presence of short distance non-linearities, we are able to develop a rigorous perturbative description that is valid at long distances.
